We are excited to have Scott Kashman, Chief Acute Care Officer for Lee Health, as our speaker for the April Fort Myers luncheon. Scott will speak on trends in healthcare and the expansion of the Lee Health system.
Scott is a member of the senior leadership team at Lee Health and the Chief Acute Care Officer. He joined Lee Health in August 2011. He also is the Co-Author of the recently published book, Mindful Healthcare: Healthy Team, Healthy Business. Scott is responsible for managing the overall operations and performance of the acute care hospitals and the health system’s ancillary services. He also serves as the executive liaison for the system’s wellness strategy. Scott brings more than 25 years of experience in a number of areas of health care. He began his career as a psychiatric counselor providing inpatient and outpatient therapy. Throughout his career, he has held a number of managerial positions, including Vice President of Outpatient Services for the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and Chief Operating Officer for Mercy Hospital Anderson in Cincinnati, Ohio. Most recently, Scott served as Chief Executive Officer at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City and the Chief Administrative Office for Cape Coral Hospital.
