Monthly Luncheon with Eleanor Herman, New York Times Bestselling Author

  • Tiburon Golf Club at the Ritz Carlton Resort 2620 Tiburon Drive Naples, FL, 34109 United States (map)

New York Times best-seller Eleanor Herman will dazzle us with her historical insights and literary gems. Eleanor Herman is the author of Sex with Kings, Sex with the Queen, Mistress of the Vatican, and several other works of popular history for both adult and young adult readers. Her most recent book is The Royal Art of Poison, where she combines her unique access to royal archives with cutting-edge forensic discoveries to tell the true story of Europe’s glittering palaces: one of medical bafflement, poisonous cosmetics, ever-present excrement, festering illness, and sometimes, murder. She has hosted Lost Worlds for The History Channel, The Madness of Henry VIII for the National Geographic Channel, and is now filming her second season of America: Fact vs. Fiction for The American Heroes Channel. Herman, who also is a historical re-enactor with a collection of era-accurate gowns, lives with her husband Michael Dyment, their black lab, and her four very dignified cats in McLean, VA.

We will be joined at this exciting event by our friends from the Yale Club.
